Travel Itinerary
Day 0: Arrival & Preparation
- Pickup from your arrival location (airport, harbor, or other tourist area).
- Transfer to Senaru village.
- Check-in at the accommodation provided.
- A brief briefing on climbing procedures and a health check.
Day 01: Sembalun - Pelawangan Sembalun (Last Basecamp)
- 7:00 - 8:00 AM: Breakfast, registration at the Rinjani Geopark Information Center (RIC) in Sembalun, and health check.
- 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Begin the climb from the Sembalun entrance to Post 1 (1,300m) and continue to Post 2 (1,500m). The trail is gentle and passes through savannah.
- 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch at Post 2 or Post 3 (1,800m).
- 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Continue the climb to Pelawangan Sembalun (2,639m). The trail begins to climb steeply (Bukit Penyesalan).
- 5:30 PM: Arrive at Pelawangan Sembalun. Enjoy the sunset with views of Lake Segara Anak and Mount Baru Jari.
- 7:00 PM: Dinner and rest to prepare for the summit attack.
Day 02: Summit Attack - Descend to Sembalun
- 2:00 AM - 2:30 AM: Wake up, drink hot coffee/tea, and have a snack.
- 2:30 AM - 6:00 AM: Trek to Mount Rinjani (3,726 meters above sea level). The trail is sandy and rocky.
- 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM: Enjoy the sunrise at the highest peak on Lombok Island.
- 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Descend back to Pelawangan Sembalun.
- 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Have a hearty breakfast and prepare to descend.
- 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM: Descend back to Sembalun Village via the same route.
- 4:00 PM: Arrive at Sembalun Village, handover of luggage, and the journey is complete.

- Pick-up and drop-off transportation between Senaru, Sembalun, and Senggigi or your next destination (within Lombok).
- One night's accommodation in Senaru before the climb.
- Mount Rinjani National Park entrance ticket (e-ticket).
